Dr. Paul Getreu was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and is a graduate of Brooklyn College.

He received his D.D.S. from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1982, winning the Quintessence Award for Restorative Dentistry.  Dr.Getreu completed a general practice residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, Bronx, N.Y., where he received additional training in restorative dentistry and oral surgery. 

Dr. Getreu has been in private practice at his present location for over twenty-five years.  He and his wife live on Long Island and have three grown children.

Dr. Jason Sauer, a native of Queens, has worked at Your Family Dentist since 2005. 
He attended SUNY @ Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, receiving his Dental Degree with Honors. 

While in attendance at Stony Brook, he received awards from the Academy of General Dentistry and the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for excelling in both fields, and was one of three students selected for the National Dental Honor Society. 

He went on to train at North Shore University Hospital for two years, serving as chief dental resident, and then trained at the Manhattan Veterans Hospital for three years, again serving as chief dental resident, where he received training in Dental Implant placement.  He currently resides in Westchester with his wife and two young children.
